Ok, first of all, I would like to apologize for not being able to post the 4th and the last day of the festival immediately. I got caught up in a big pile of work and it took me sometime to get out of it.
Day 4:
So, as stated in the title, my film, Mirror, was screened on the 4th day at around 3pm. To be honest, I was extremely nervous, as this is my first out-of-my-country screening. I was so scared that no one would show up and even worse that they would hate it.
As they were showing my film, which is only around 5mins in length, everything seems fine until the projector stopped working!!! Yes, I know. What are the odds, right? It was not a problem to screen a 1hour long film but it just stopped with the 5 mins one.
Anyway, after 10mins of hell, it was back to normal and the movie was successfully screened to the group of audience of around 25 to 30 people.
Another highlight of day 4 was the movie called Anita Last Cha Cha by SIGRID ANDREA BERNARDO. The movie was amazing. The actresses were incredible and the story was great. I love it so much and I am pretty sure the audience thought the same way.
Day 5:
For the last day, I only attended the last screening of the festival of the movie called I Love You, Thank You by CHARLIEBEBS GOHETIA.
This movie was a special one as it was shot in 3 different countries including my beloved country, Cambodia.
The festival ended with a positive vibe from the audience. And the organizer did the best job in the world.
After the festival, I went out for a drink with my Cambodian friend and 2 other amazingly talented documentary directors.
In short, things were great.
Thank you for reading.
